Halloween 2013

I found Isaiah's costume at a consignment store for 5.00.  It was a little snug but worked for the day!  We had a potluck dinner with my mom's Bible study group.  After dinner we trick or treated to a couple houses in the neighborhood.  Isaiah enjoyed walking the street and getting candy put in his pumpkin.

I don't really care that much for Halloween but it sure was cute to see Isaiah dressed up as Woody.  Now we are this much closer to Christmas :)

First Haircut

I took Isaiah to get his first haircut. We went to great clips because it was the cheapest. He sat up high on the padded seat and cried his eyes out until the last couple minutes.

And I can't resist posting Anna and Owen's first hair cut photo either! Same week... Just on opposite coasts :)

I love them!

Life in the ER

With Mikey as an ER doctor, he doesn't really have a typical schedule. As an intern, they work the most and the following years he will work less shifts. He spends most of the time in the ER or pediatric ER department. He also does a couple months in surgery, ob, and other specialties. Right now he is on nights.. So it's nice in the afternoons but it's hard to keep quiet in the morning. I usually try and find things to do. I am involved in my churches moms book study as well as the local mops group. We really love our church and are enjoying getting to know the people in our bible study. I have found several people that want to watch Isaiah... Allowing Mikey and I to go out and for me to get a free evening every once in a while to go out with other girls.

It is still quite warm here but fall is coming quickly. I know it will be much colder here then California and I am excited to use our fireplace! Never had a fireplace before. (In married life)

Mikey with the sickest baby (not really, he was just a little under the weather)

Isaiah has discovered that he loves playing with cars.

And he loves making quiet messes in his room....

Sad and hot pumpkin patch

We went with a local moms group to the pumpkin patch last week. It was 90 degrees and bugs everywhere. I wasn't aware that they don't actually grow the pumpkins there.... Just sprinkle them in a dirt field. Needless to say, we didn't stay long or get a pumpkin. Isaiah did enjoy playing with the tractors and his friend Ethan.
