The Sun Has Come Out!

We had a great weekend filled with family (Mikey's dad) and friends (Lisa). We spent time in Laguna and Huntington Beach.

Prepare to receive your Bibles!

Mikey was dedicated tonight as a Christian physician. He received a Bible with the university symbol. Right before they stood up to receive their Bibles, one of the doctors said, "Prepare to receive your Bibles." I laughed, how does one prepare for that? Anyways...it was a nice but kind of silly. It was similar to the white coat ceremony; they seem to really love their ceremonies here in Loma Linda. I am looking forward to the ceremony in 3 1/2 years...

Snow in Southern California

After church today Mikey and I drove 20 minutes to play in the snow. This week there was a bad storm, we got a lot of rain and the mountains got snow. It felt like I was in Washington again :)

Nigeria

God closed the door for us to go to Rwanda, so we are now waiting to see if we have been approved for the site in Ife, Nigeria. Nigeria is in the 10 40 window. Since hearing about the need of Christians to go there, it has been on my heart.

Summer Possibilities

Mikey and I are really excited about this summer. We are waiting to hear back if we have been approved to go on a missions trip to Rwanda, Africa. We will be serving the local community through the hospital and other outreach programs. More details to come soon...
