This is seriously one of the best things I have ever baked. Salted caramel chocolate chip bars. Salted caramel has been all the rage for a while now but I just had to make this after my friend Amy did. I could eat the whole thing...but then I would be very sick. Make this now!

Spring Break 2012

My Spring Break/ Intersession started with a wonderful weekend in Washington. Just two days later we found out that we are having a boy!

My mom made a blue cake to celebrate the occasion!

Mikey's parents came to visit and we went to San Diego for the day to see his brother Mark.

I got started on the nursery by putting together the changing table (I just had to start on something!) I also got the fabric to start sewing things for baby boy. Now I return to my students in the morning....

No doubt about it, it's a BOY!

Not much is better when you are with your best friend. I got to spend all weekend with Katelyn and her new son Christian. It was wonderful to pick up from where we left off and to meet the new addition. I just love being with Katelyn and Lisa...it doesn't matter what we do...just as long as we are together :) On my next trip up (Mikey will come too) I will have more to carry....but it will just keep getting better.... "Katelyn, do you think Christian will have room in his crib for a friend?"

End of one 2nd Trimester and the beginning of another.....

I am doing what teacher's love to do most.....report cards :( It is a nice feeling though to have another trimester finished! I can't believe I have made it to February.

I am also now in my second trimester of pregnancy. I made it through with no morning sickness or throwing up. I kept waiting for it to happen but it never did....I guess I will have to keep saving my sick days :) In a couple weeks we will find out if Baby Brown is boy or girl!
