Lucy Ann 10 Months

This month I did two photo shoots for Lucy because I wasn't getting the pictures I loved... but I do love them all :)  Lucy, you are a growing girl!  I think you weigh about 17 pounds and wear 9-12 month clothes.

You are a fast crawler.  You like to pull yourself up on the ottoman and couch.  Lucy, you make some sweet noises and then loud screeches.  You also like to smack your lips.  

You still are just enjoying pureed baby food.  Not that interested "real" food yet, even though I try.  You have two bottom teeth. You drink four bottles a day and take a morning and afternoon nap.

You love playing with Isaiah and he for the most part likes playing with you.  He still makes you cry everyday though, for that I am sorry.    

You love reading books and when we read to you.

You had your first Thanksgiving and getting ready to celebrate your first Christmas!

Lucy, you bring a lot of joy into our house.  You smile so big at your daddy and you laugh!

Isaiah insisted on getting his picture taken too.  He did great in front of the camera!

Isaiah you are 26 months!  You love saying YOUR name, reading Noah's Ark, pushing trucks, destroying train tracks, and playing with bunny.

You absolutely love your sister.  Isaiah you certainly test the boundaries and need to be disciplined A LOT.  We love your heart and your strong will at times.  We pray that it will all be used for God's glory.  You bring much laughter and joy to our home.  I love getting you up in the morning and putting you to sleep :) 

Lucy Ann 9 Months

Lucy, you are nine months old and wearing a huge bow!! 

You are officially on the move and have started crawling!  You can go backwards and forwards.  It has just been a couple days since you have started going forwards, so you are not to fast at it yet, but I know it won't be long before you are zooming around the house.

You are now eating baby food at lunch and dinner.  You still prefer yellow shaded foods, squash, apricots, bananas, oranges, and some others.  Lucy you still haven't caught on to finger foods.

Lucy you wake up around 7:00.  Take your morning nap at 9:00 and then afternoon nap at 1:00.  Some mornings you miss a nap because we are out, and seem to most of the time do okay.  We can't stay inside all day!  Your bedtime is 6:30.  Just this past week you have started to enjoy the bath!  You actually splash with your brother.  He likes having you in there with him.

You are wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.  (We still have TONS of boxes from your years supply left...we may make it past a year!)  Some days you do fine when I leave you in the nursery and some days you cry.  I think you are getting better.  Isaiah makes you cry at least two times a day, but it's never anything too serious.  But he also makes you laugh! We love you so much and the little girl personality that we see :)

October in California

These are pictures from the first part of our trip when we went to California in October.  We flew into San Diego and visited with Sarah and had her bridal shower.  It was SO much fun!

Lucy Ann Month 8

My sweetie girl you are 8 months!  This has been such a great month for the most part and I finally feel like we are in good routine :)

You are more happy, less fussy, and sleeping better.  So all those things combined makes life around here wonderful! haha.  Your bedtime is 6:30 ish and you sleep till 7:00, with no wakings!! You are then up for about two hours and then go down for your morning nap.  Isaiah and you both take your afternoon nap at 1:00.  Putting you down at the same time is KEY.  

Lucy, you traveled to California for the first time!  We got to meet Aunt Sarah's fiance and travel up the coast to see grandma and grandpa, Aunt Lesley, Uncle Jonathan, and Anna and Owen.  The only hard part about traveling west is the time change, but on the last day of vacation you finally switched :) We can't wait to go back in January for Sarah's wedding! 

You love to eat carrots and sweet potatoes.  You don't get solid foods every day yet, but I am working on it.  You have started to talk more, you can scout backwards and roll over both ways.  You also sleep on your tummy, even though I had always put you on your back.  You just flip right over.

Lucy you are wearing size 3 diapers and size 9 month clothes.  Not sure how much you weigh, but you are are petite princess :)

Lucy Ann Month 7

Lucy girl is 7 months.  You are sitting up really well on your own now.  You love to be held all the time or sat right across from mama to play.  You are very good at taking one hour naps :) Sometimes they will stretch to 1.5, but not that often.  Lucy you are still taking three naps a day, I tried to just do two naps, but it was pretty terrible.  You didn't like being up that long :) Your bedtime is still 6:30 and you wake up at about 7:00-7:30 with one night feeding.  

We tried some solid foods at your six month mark, but you really wanted nothing to do with it.  So I tried again and again, but you really didn't want it! Ha!  But, now at 7 months you love sweet potatoes! At least for today, hopefully tomorrow too.  You have always hated being on your stomach for play time and only in the last few days have you tolerated a couple more minutes.  Sort of pushing up on your legs like you might crawl soon?  Maybe between 8-9 months, like Isaiah did.

Your brother LOVES holding you and rocking you! He would hold you all day if I let him.  He loves to tackle you to the ground.  Even though you are a mama's girl, you can tolerate when I am away.  You have have done fine with a couple sweet babysitters and of course your daddy :)   I see your sweet and observant personality coming through. 

Oh and did I mention that you love Thomas too?  Isaiah NEVER watched as much of TV as you do, he didn't really even know what it was a your age, but by the time 5:00 (maybe 4:00 sometime) rolls around and you are fussy, guess what will instantly stop your crying?  Thomas the Train.  You even do a little dance to the music. Haha You do like music, so I try and sing to you as well as put on music and that will calm you as well. 

This month has been long because Mikey has been on Trauma.  Which means long hours with little time at home... but it's almost over!  And soon you will take your first trip to California!!! Yay!!!  

Some quick stats: You are wearing 9 month clothes and still some 6 month.  Size 3 diapers, and I am guessing you are around 14 pounds :)
