We woke up excited Friday morning and practically ran from the parking lot to the conference room where the match was taking place. We tried to eat the breakfast provided but of course, our minds were just waiting!
We sat with our friends and anxiously awaited Mikey's name to be called. Slowly our friends received their envelopes and jumped up with excitement.. we patiently waited. Mikey's name was called ALMOST last...which would have been fine because we would have won the money...but no, it was just CLOSE to last :)
He sprang up to get his envelope and then ran back to sit down to open it next to me...Our friends were taking pictures of us...
He opened the envelope and at the point I lost my ability to read... What did those words say? Could it be true? Greenville, North Carolina.... ahh yes... you did interview there.....We were shocked and surprised.
So now our new journey begins....packing up in Redlands and heading ACROSS the country to North Carolina. (ETA June 1st)
