I is for Isaiah #7

Isaiah Michael, you are 7 months old....28 weeks! 

This month you started "talking" on March 1st.  Saying, dadada, we love hearing you talk.  You also like to scream and yell at times.  

You are very content sitting on the floor and playing with your toys.  The exersaucer is still a favorite.  I took down your swing to give to a friend who is having a baby, as well as your bouncer!  You have started to lunge forward when sitting, maybe thinking about crawling?  I am fine with you staying in one place for now :)  No teeth yet! 

Isaiah you were dedicated at church this month, visited with your friend Christian, and celebrated your first Valentine's Day.  We have left you a couple times with friends and your grandparents to enjoy some nights out.  We are very thankful for Grandma and Grandpa Miller!

You are eating three solid meals a day.  Rice cereal and bananas for breakfast, and a vegetable and fruit for lunch and dinner.  We are learning good high chair manners and patience :) 

Your bedtime is still 6:00 and you sleep till 7:00 am! You are taking 2-3 naps per day. Continuing the eat, play, sleep schedule.   I love getting you up from your crib, always smiling and kicking your legs.  You love when I sing to you. This is the Day, Jesus Loves Me, Praise Him, and many more.  When you are upset, usually my singing will stop your crying.  You also love the sound of your dads voice.

 You are wearing size 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.  Your hair is coming in thicker now, very blond!  I also put away a big stack of your burp cloths!! So that means that you are spitting up a lot less, but you are still a baby and spit up sometimes just happens.

I is for Isaiah #6

Isaiah you are six months old!  Half a year.... it seems like forever ago that you were a newborn!  You are a big , interactive baby now.  

This past month you have started eating solids.  Rice cereal, peas, carrots, and squash.  

You have been sick for a couple weeks now and we finally went to the doctor.  You are doing breathing treatments and taking antibiotics... hopefully you will feel better soon!

Isaiah you are still a happy baby, even when you are sick!  You can now sit up and play on a blanket.  You love bath time now... splashing and playing with your toys in the water.

You traveled to Denver and Chicago, both cold places!  Isaiah you are "talking" and spitting a lot, you love to make noise! We were able to go on a COUPLE date nights this month! Your grandma put you to sleep and it went great.  

You are wearing nine month clothes and size 2 and size 3 diaper...trying to finish the package.  

Isaiah you weigh 18 pounds are 28 inches long!

 You are the apple of our eye :)

I is for Isaiah #5

My sweet Isaiah boy you are 5 months today! 

We love you more everyday.  When I put you to sleep at night I just can't wait till the next day to see you! (We often peek in on you though!) 

This month you traveled back to Denver to celebrate your first Christmas! You did a great job on the plane.  We are becoming pretty good at traveling with you, though its never quite relaxing :)

You love playing in your exersauser.  You have figured out how to play the music and will hit it pretty hard.  We still put you in your swing when you get tired, it really saves us sometimes. 

You have rolled over a couple times.  You prefer to go back to stomach.  We fed you your first solids two days ago.  Most of it came out but the second try you opened up your mouth for the spoon!  

You are still taking 3 naps a day.  Your bedtime is 6:00 and you wake up at 7:30.

 You are going longer in between feedings.  You love when we take you out on walks and to the store.  

Your favorite toy is Scout! You listen to him when we change your diaper.

You love love love your daddy! He plays with you and you smile so big!

Isaiah you put your toes in your mouth for the first time and love grabbing them.

You are wearing 6 month to 9 month clothes and size 2 diapers.  

I is for Isaiah #4

Isaiah Michael, you are four months! This has truly been a wonderful month!  You got to meet almost all of your extended family on your mom's side in Redmond, Oregon.  You traveled on your third flight and visited another new state.

This month you have discovered your voice and we can hear you screeching and babbling from all over the house.  You just started to put your keys and other items in your mouth.  You don't care much for your pacifier anymore.  The swing, bouncer, and excersaucer are all fun toys that you enjoy.  We even placed you in the johnny jump up but you didn't really know what to do in it.

Isaiah you sleep almost 12 hours straight! From 6:30-6:00 and then till 7:30! You still take about three naps a day.  You are calm and collected during our walks and love going to the store.  You have also been staying in the nursery for church and TMOMs, which is wonderful!  One special lady always holds you.  AND we get asked every time if you have reflux..... of course you do!  You spit up all the time, but it doesn't bother you so it's fine :)

At your doctor's appointment you weighed in at 15 pounds 11 ounces, 26 inches long, and a head circumference of 17 inches!  You are wearing 6 and 9 month clothes.  (The white onesie you are wearing in these pictures is 12 months!)

I if for Isaiah #3

Isaiah has officially reached baby stage and is no longer a newborn :(

We just love him more and more everyday!

Isaiah is making the cutest noises all the time now... especially in the morning and when he is lying on the changing table.

He just started grabbing toys.
He still likes his bouncy chair and swing.

He weighs 15 pounds and wears mostly 6 month clothing.

He goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 7.  I only feed him roughly once a night! 

He is still unsure about bath time, he grabs the edges of the tub!

He is a pretty relaxed baby, still spits up ALL the TIME!
I can just about carry him on my hip now!

He spent quality time with his friend Christian in Palm Springs.  Isaiah also traveled to Santa Barbara to stroll around Westmont and meet all of my friends!

Next big trip happens tomorrow.....but we will save that for next month!

I is for Isaiah #2

Look at me! I am two months!

I have already been on two airline trips: Sacramento and Denver
I have spent time with Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Lesley, and cousin Anna

I have met all my grandparents
I like to smile, spit up EVERYWHERE/ ANYTIME
I sleep in my crib and enjoy my swing and bouncy chair

I don't fit in my newborn clothes anymore and have almost passed up my 3 month ones too
I got my shots, which I didn't like one bit

I weigh 13 pounds, have a big head, and blue eyes.....

What will next month hold?

One Month

Isaiah has already accomplished so much in his first month of life!  

*Seen all but one grandparent

*Spent a LOT of time with Aunt Sarah

*Was held by Uncle Jeff

*Stayed at Newport Beach

*Traveled to Murrieta

*Shopped at Target, Nordstrom Rack, and JoAnn's

*Ate at Crow Burger, Five Guys, Sweet Baby Rays, and Rubios

*Slept for 6 hours straight!

Isaiah enjoys looking out the window, being rocked, bounced, sitting in his vibrating chair and swing...anything that moves he likes!

He also has no control over his arms which we think is so funny, watching his arms flail up in his bassinet.

He doesn't always like his picture taken

He can strike a good pose

He can't sit up by himself

He is starting to talk or make noises...ie our nickname- Mr. Squeaks
