Happy 3 Year Anniversary

Here we are at dinner! 

Mikey and I celebrated three years of marriage yesterday.  I am 35 weeks pregnant! Last anniversary without a baby....

Summer So Far....

I started my summer break by celebrating Mikey's birthday! We had about 15 friends join us for dinner at a Mexican Restaurant.  After dinner everyone came back to our house for dessert.  The following weekend Sarah and I went to our third Resolved Conference in Palm Springs.  It was so amazing! We heard 12 amazing sermons and had great worship by Enfield.  Check out what we heard at resolved.org.  We came back to Murrieta on Monday and were greeted by our baby brother Matthew.

I decided two things:  one I am not wearing that long sleeved pink shirt anymore.(it also doesn't really fit)  Obviously I didn't think ahead that I would be the largest in the summer.  And two, why do I have to stand by a white wall?  You can still see that I am pregnant if there are other things in the picture.  

My baby weighs about 4 pounds now and is 17 inches long.  He is suppose to double in size between now and his birthday.  Hopefully that doesn't mean that I will double in size.  I have almost completed his nursery and am organizing his clothes.  I was planning on doing all this when I finished working BUT I just couldn't wait.  I am sure I will find more stuff to do come Wednesday when I start maternity leave!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend was so wonderful!  On Friday I prepared the house for my out of town guests.  I was then surprised by my aunt and cousin who had driven down for the weekend.  Mikey and I went over to my parent's house for dinner with them.  On Saturday morning my friend Christie and her daughter Sophia flew in from Phoenix, Arizona for the shower.  We got ready at my apartment and then headed over.  The was amazing! Great food and great friends! I loved having most of all my friends there- from Bible Study, to church, to family, and friends from Westmont! (I will be posting more pictures soon)  Rachel came from Fresno and Kacie and Vanessa came from Santa Barbara! After the shower we brought all my gifts home and relaxed before dinner.  Then we headed out to Red Robin and saw the movie "What to Expect When Your Expecting," very fitting for the occasion.  On Sunday after everyone left, I was able to organize everything I got.  Now I just can't wait for the baby to come!

Not only did Sarah graduation but she graduated at the top of her class!! A 4.0!!! She defiantly takes after her older and wiser sister.....hahaha.  She has her masters and I do not! I guess I have some catching up to do.  

3 years down....one to go!

Its hard to believe that a year from this May, Mikey will be a doctor!  Even though my posts have recently been about our baby, there is a lot of other things going on as well!  Mikey is finishing his third year of medical school.  This summer he will apply for residences to be an Emergency Room doctor.  Most days we are both waking up before 6:00 and getting home exhausted from work.  The Browns keep busy! (I am patiently waiting for him to set the crib up.....if you read this Mikey you are welcome to do it anytime now)

Sister Sarah is graduating this weekend with her Masters in Social Work!!! We can't wait to watch her graduate again.
