Nursery

I made his name banner out of fabric and ribbon.
Isaiah means Salvation of the Lord  and the Lord saves.

I also made the letter I using a cardboard letter and wrapped it with yarn.  The Bible verse I ordered off of  Etsy.  It is Zephaniah 3:15.  I hung very cheap lanterns and a tissue paper ball.  I knew the lanterns were not my original idea, after visiting Jonathan and Lesley last week, I discovered where I saw the idea.... Anna's nursery!  So I copied you Lesley :)

When my sister, mom and I were in New York last December, I had just found out I was pregnant.   But they didn't know!  I managed to purchase a little baby scrub outfit at FAO Schwartz without them suspecting anything! haha

We have plenty of books to read.  Of course Aunt Sarah found a cute pair of poor boy boots....

The pillow is made by my mom.  I had the embroidery hanging up in my nursery and my mom converted it  into a cute pillow with blue backing for a boy :)

I is for Isaiah

One Month
Isaiah has already accomplished so much in his first month of life!

*Seen all but one grandparent
*Spent a LOT of time with Aunt Sarah
*Was held by Uncle Jeff
*Stayed at Newport Beach
*Traveled to Murrieta
*Shopped at Target, Nordstrom Rack, and JoAnn's
*Ate at Crow Burger, Five Guys, Sweet Baby Rays, and Rubios
*Slept for 6 hours straight!

Isaiah enjoys looking out the window, being rocked, bounced, sitting in his vibrating chair and swing...anything that moves he likes!

He also has no control over his arms which we think is so funny, watching his arms flail up in his bassinet.

He doesn't always like his picture taken

He can strike a good pose

He can't sit up by himself

He is starting to talk or make noises...ie our nickname- Mr. Squeaks

Cleaning, Emergencies, and 39+ weeks

Whenever I have a deadline....I work to finish the project BEFORE it's due.  Mikey will work and turn in the  project THE day it's due.... so I am not that anxious yet for the baby to come because he hasn't reached his Due Date!  I do believe that he will come before this coming Thursday though.... I think the house is SO clean that I am afraid it is going to get messy by the time we actually head out the door.  Mikey just finished his Emergency Room rotation, he told me that the baby could not come before today.  So apparently our baby is already obedient :)

36.5 Weeks

My friend Katie asked if she could take some pictures of us, I said sure! I wasn't planning on doing maternity pictures but free pictures? Sure!  Her husband is also a fourth year medical student.  I have been taking pictures every four weeks.... so the next time would be 40 weeks.....unless he comes early :) Only time will tell!

Our Verse for Baby ___________

Today, I finally took down Mikey's birthday decorations.  We have another birthday to get ready for.  I don't know the exact date of this birthday, but I know it is coming soon!

I have this print hanging in the baby's nursery.  Zephaniah 3:15 is the verse for Baby B.  Our prayer is that he would come to know the Lord at a young age, "He is mighty to save."
