Merry White Christmas!

Family shot in Beaver Creek

Getting ready to go to the Christmas Eve Service

Isaiah loved playing with the crinkly candy cane

We woke up on Christmas day to snow! So of course we put Isaiah in a sleigh!

The snow makes everything look so pretty!

Reaching for his gift.

Amazed with the bow!

Boys being boys... notice Mikey is putting together his lego set... What?

Made it back to Cali in time to see Sarah and

Matthew!

Brown Family Christmas

We started our family Christmas celebration by opening gifts in the morning.
Isaiah was able to rip his gifts "a little bit."

In his stocking he got a new hat and booties for the cold weather.
We then enjoyed a big Christmas breakfast. (not pictured)

In the evening I made Christmas dinner, braised short ribs, mashed potatoes, crunchy salad, and peppermint chocolate cake!  We invited our friends Daniel and Hannah to join us as well.  Isaiah was already snoozin by this point :)

Our special Christmas dishes that we have enjoyed using this season given to us by Mikey's mom.

Two Christmas celebrations down, one more to go!

Miller Family Christmas

Since we are going to Denver this year for Christmas, we celebrated with most of my family last weekend.  My dad showed Isaiah the train.  I know he is going to love trains!

Sarah was there too and gave Isaiah his very first Woody doll! At first he wasn't so sure....

But then he loved him.

Isaiah had his own blue baby's first Christmas stocking.  I love seeing all the stockings on the fire place.  It is getting crowded on there!

Thank you mom, dad, and Sarah for a wonderful Christmas celebration.  See you soon!

I is for Isaiah #4

Isaiah Michael, you are four months! This has truly been a wonderful month!  You got to meet almost all of your extended family on your mom's side in Redmond, Oregon.  You traveled on your third flight and visited another new state.

This month you have discovered your voice and we can hear you screeching and babbling from all over the house.  You just started to put your keys and other items in your mouth.  You don't care much for your pacifier anymore.  The swing, bouncer, and excersaucer are all fun toys that you enjoy.  We even placed you in the johnny jump up but you didn't really know what to do in it.

Isaiah you sleep almost 12 hours straight! From 6:30-6:00 and then till 7:30! You still take about three naps a day.  You are calm and collected during our walks and love going to the store.  You have also been staying in the nursery for church and TMOMs, which is wonderful!  One special lady always holds you.  AND we get asked every time if you have reflux..... of course you do!  You spit up all the time, but it doesn't bother you so it's fine :)

At your doctor's appointment you weighed in at 15 pounds 11 ounces, 26 inches long, and a head circumference of 17 inches!  You are wearing 6 and 9 month clothes.  (The white onesie you are wearing in these pictures is 12 months!)

Christmas Baby!!

My mom got him this outfit last year....it's kinda cute kinda ugly :)

I have been trying to take better pictures with our camera.  A photographer spoke at my TMOMs groups (trinity mothers of munchins) and gave us some helpful tips!

Someday he will smile for the camera!

I have been looking forward to celebrating Christmas with a baby for a long time!  I know he doesn't understand much right now, but I read him the nativity story and sing carols with him.  We also dance around the Christmas tree.

Bedtime Reading

Every night I read to Isaiah.  We usually read two books, that's about all he can sit still for.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Mikey, Isaiah, and I enjoyed a  wonderful weekend in Murrieta over the Thanksgiving holiday.  I was able to fulfill my dream of seeing Isaiah dressed up like pilgrim, he didn't seem to mind :)  My mom cooked an amazing dinner as usual and I really didn't make anything.

We picked out our Christmas tree on Sunday after church.  It was so fun to bring Isaiah.  He was sleeping but I had to wake him up to show him the farm.  It was hot that day!  We found the perfect little tree and it is now standing in our living room.  I managed to decorate our house in two days and am so excited about celebrating this year with my baby!
